In December 2021, the unprecented Marshall Fire swept through Louisville, Superior, and Boulder County, destroying over 400 homes in Superior alone. Superior Rising is a local grassroots movement dedicated to rebuild efforts affected residents, businesses and workforce, while a new mixed-use vision for Downtown Superior is creating a welcoming and walkable new main street with 817,000 square feet of commercial and retail space, and 1,400 residential units, and 46 acres of outdoor recreation and open green space.
